Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one following each client's ISP, promoting independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. The role requires 18+, HS or GED, driver’s license preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Compensation: $18–$24/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
