Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities throughout New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with individuals following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

This role offers flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team with a DDD focus. Must be 18+, HS diploma preferred; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
