Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one with clients following each ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local NJ cases, and a supportive team. Applicants should be 18+, HS diploma, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a driver’s license. Previous caregiving is a plus but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
