Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage social participation, and help individuals live as independently as possible.

Flexible schedules and meaningful, community-based work are emphasized. Pay ranges from $13 - $15 per hour with weekly pay, training offered, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and required training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Document care, activities, and progress; communicate with team.
