Job summary

The Arc Carroll County Inc in Westminster, MD is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one personal supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Compensation is $20.07/hour with a flexible evening schedule and some daytime hours.

Responsibilities include one-on-one community or in-home support, transportation, and planning activities aligned to each person’s goals.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Ability to pass background, drug, and driving record checks
• CPR/First Aid/Med Tech certification trainings

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one community-based or in-home support
• Provide transportation and support community access
• Create and implement activities tailored to individuals’ interests, goals, and abilities
• Encourage independence and decision-making
• Assist with personal care and mobility as needed
• Document services and progress in iCare
• Follow person-centered plans and state regulations
