Job summary

Arc of Carroll County Westminster, MD is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a part-time role in a small residential home supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position offers shifts on weekends, weeknights, and overnight options with a starting pay of $19.68/hour plus a $2 weekend differential, plus paid training and bonuses for DSP certification.

No experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Ability to pass background and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in a community living residential home.
• Create and implement daily routines and activities.
• Assist with meal planning, cooking, laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care, medication administration, and mobility support as needed.
• Provide transportation and support community access.
• Promote independence, choice, and self-advocacy.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive home environment.
• Complete required documentation and follow agency/state guidelines.
