Job summary

Civitas is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered care across Central San Diego and North County (Oceanside to Carmel Valley). You will deliver 1:1 support, help with daily living skills, and promote independence in home and community settings.

Role requires flexible hours, a reliable personal vehicle, and commitment to privacy and safety standards. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable personal vehicle to travel to work and within service area.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to confidentiality and Civitas conduct standards.
• CPR/First Aid certification and background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct support in clients' homes and community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities, self-care, and skill development.
• Support clients in Independent Living and Tailored Day Services goals.
• Utilize documentation tools and report changes to supervisors.
• Travel within Central San Diego and North County to serve multiple clients.
