Toward Maximum Independence is hiring a Direct Support Professional in San Diego, CA. The role supports adults with developmental disabilities, working Monday–Friday from 8AM to 6PM at a compensation of $19.50 per hour. Primary location: San Diego-East County.

Join a team dedicated to helping clients achieve independence, engage in meaningful activities, and participate fully in their community. Training is provided, and benefits are available for full-time staff.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year in social services or with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Driving: 3 years driving, own vehicle. ASL is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Train, support, and monitor clients in community and vocational settings.
• Develop individualized adaptive support materials as needed.
• Develop and expand clients’ participation in integrated employment activities.
• Assist with development and implementation of clients’ annual plan, goals, and objectives.
• Participate in clients’ IPP meetings and provide same-day shift coverage as requested.
