Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Indiana to provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. You will work with clients to encourage independence, deliver daily living assistance, and follow care plans with dignity.

The role offers a sign-on bonus, $15.75 per hour, plus benefits, retirement, PTO and opportunities for training. Some weekend shifts and holidays may be required, with part-time and full-time schedules available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for Helping Others.
• Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process.
• Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
• Good communication is key in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on caregiving assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
