Job summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Latrobe, PA. You will provide direct support in clients' homes or community settings, helping build life and social skills while delivering compassionate care.

Join a team that emphasizes training, development, and multidisciplinary support. Must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and possess a PA driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old.
• Background checks and TB screening required.
• CPR certification required at hire (training provided if not valid).
• Ability to use iPad/tablets for documentation.
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with proof of car insurance, PA registration, and good driving record.
• Own reliable, clean vehicle; rideshare/public transport not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Spend substantial time with clients and build a strong therapeutic rapport.
• Document services provided and collect progress data for team planning.
• Provide direct support per service plan and ODP guidelines.
• Assist with activities of daily living and independent living skills.
• Transport clients in your own vehicle to community activities and meetings.
• Develop client skills across leisure, health, and wellbeing domains.
• Navigate community and build social connections with service organizations.
• Be a steward of ATS’s mission, vision, values, and beliefs.
