Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, accompany them to appointments, and help them participate in community activities.

This part-time DSP role offers paid training, a weekend schedule, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff or $500 for part-time. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, PTO and sick time, and

Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, or double shifts.

Responsibilities

Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active as possible in daily life.
Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, grooming and personal care as needed.
Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and document progress as required.
Maintain safety and compliance with agency policies and DDS regulations.
