Job summary

Skill Creations, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals in our residential facilities. The DSP will assist with daily living, personal care, and medication administration, and help with community activities and appointments.

Hourly pay starts at $17.60 for full-time or part-time positions; back-up/PRN roles pay $17.00 per hour. Full-time staff receive benefits including health, dental, life insurance, holidays, PTO and 401K. Location: SCI-NASH 2.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal Record Check is required.
• Prompt and regular attendance is expected.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR/First Aid and Behavior Management coursework will be provided.
• Basic computer skills for email and training modules are needed.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds and stay on feet most of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for individuals with needs in daily living.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration and independent living skills.
• Transport or accompany individuals to activities and appointments.
