KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Western Montgomery County. The role involves caregiving and coaching to promote independence, choice and community involvement, while building relationships and helping people reach personal goals.

This location offers full-time and part-time opportunities with rotating weekends and shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 3 years driving experience required; valid driver's license and vehicle registration aligned with state of residence.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a caregiver and life coach to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and shopping.
• Support individuals with communication and self-expression.
• Complete general housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Help individuals work toward personal goals and participate in community activities.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, behavioral data, seizure charts, and medical visit forms.
