Job summary

KenCrest Services in Western Montgomery County is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with IDD. You will be a caregiver and life coach, promoting independence, daily living, and community involvement.

The role includes a mandatory two-week paid orientation, opportunities for full-time or part-time work, and a starting rate of $18.00/hour at this location. Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Must understand, speak, read, and follow English instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as caregiver and life coach to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities and medication administration.
• Support communication and self-expression, including social outings.
• Complete housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Document incidents, behaviors, and medical visits accurately.
