Job summary

KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Western Montgomery County. DSPs provide daily living support, promote independence, and act as life coaches.

The role includes training, orientation paid, background checks, and opportunities for full-time or part-time work with rotating weekends and various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (3 years driving experience).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening per state requirements.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a caregiver and life coach to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and shopping.
• Support individuals with communication and self-expression.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports and medical visit forms.
