KenCrest in Eastern Montgomery County, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role combines caregiving and life coaching to promote independence, with Day Shift, Evening Shift, Overnight, and Rotating Weekends.

New hires complete a two-week paid orientation with required trainings. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and English proficiency.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (2 years' experience).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as caregiver and life coach to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, medications, social outings, and shopping.
• Support individuals with communication and self-expression.
• Complete housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Help individuals pursue personal goals and community activities.
• Document incidents, behavioral data, and medical visit forms.
