Job summary

DABS, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support for adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in California. You will supervise activities, assist with ADLs, med administration when needed, and accompany individuals to appointments.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and implement care plans.
• Ability to maintain high standards of professional ethics, including punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised, person-centered support in individuals' homes and communities.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, meals, and personal hygiene.
• Supervise medication administration when needed and accompany to medical appointments.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes in compliance with DDS, Regional Center, and agency standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and other activities as needed.
