Job summary

Hope Network is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time, 32-hour 1st shift. You will support individuals to build independence and participate in the community, assisting with daily living, mobility, and health management.

The role emphasizes empathy, trust, and professional communication, with responsibilities ranging from personal care to coordinating social and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Commitment to scheduling and to performing duties including weekends/holidays.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to engage in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and mobility.
• Monitor safety and support crisis prevention and resolution.
• Build collaborative relationships with individuals served and community partners.
• Support social, recreational, educational and employment activities.
• Attend medical appointments and document care plans accurately.
