Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Clark, NJ is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental delays to attain independence and participate in the community. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time schedules available.

Responsibilities include aiding with daily living tasks, transporting clients, accompanying them on community outings, and documenting supports and progress for ongoing care planning.

Qualifications

• One year working with individuals with developmental delays.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.).
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community.
• Help individuals integrate into the community through activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.).
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits.
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day.
