Job summary

Avidd Community Services of New Jersey, Inc. is seeking caring and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. DSPs help individuals build independence, learn daily living skills, and lead meaningful lives.

The role offers full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules with shifts from 3pm to 11pm. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $20.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental & vision

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must pass background checks, drug screening, physical/PPD, and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills (personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry).
• Support individuals during medical appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Complete documentation in Therap each shift.
• Provide First Aid/CPR when needed.
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence.
