Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more when needed.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with three years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Report abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (hygiene, eating, meals, dressing).
• Maintain current/accurate charting.
• Facilitate residents' inclusion in community activities.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Establish a secure, positive environment supporting residents' needs and goals.
• Encourage self-help activities and independence.
• Document changes in client condition or family situation to the office.
• Perform housekeeping duties and accompany clients to appointments.
• Transport clients or run errands as needed.
• Follow infection control principles and Universal Precautions.
• Maintain knowledge of residents' requirements and comply with policies.
