You will follow individualized care plans, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, document progress, and collaborate with a care team to advocate for clients’ rights and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care.
• Implement individualized care plans to promote well-being and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to encourage social interaction.
• Document client progress and communicate with the care team.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the community.
