Job summary

Lirio Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with disabilities live more independently and participate in thriving communities. DSPs provide compassionate caregiving, companionship, personal care, and support with daily activities.

This role offers weekend and shift premiums, weekly pay, paid training, and benefits, with non-traditional hours to meet client needs in Rensselaer, IN.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, personal vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours (as required) to meet individual needs (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Excellent work and personal references required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities to live an independent life with assistance from caring professionals.
• Provide companionship and community engagement and socialization.
• Assist with personal hygiene, routine housekeeping, nutrition, medications administration, and other daily living tasks.
