Zusammenfassung

Renew Residential Services LLC is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care and meaningful support to individuals in their homes and communities. You will help residents live as independently as possible while ensuring safety, comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life through person-centered care and positive support.

This is an in-person role with a strong commitment to ethics, staff development, and meaningful work.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass background checks and required screenings.
• Experience in group homes, assisted living, or home/community care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; HIPAA training a plus.
• Experience with medication administration and care plan implementation desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.

Aufgaben

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating; maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Support clients during meals and activities.
• Follow individualized care plans including behavior and dementia care strategies.
• Document progress and interact professionally with supervisors, families, and providers.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe living environment.
