Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. seeks Residential Aide/Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Middlesex County, NJ.

This independent contractor role offers varied afternoon to morning shifts for the mental health adult population, with a $17/hr compensation and community-based responsibilities. Responsibilities include enhancing quality of life, implementing programs for communication and behavior support, and assisting with daily living activities while maintaining clean, healthy home

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass given background checks.
CPR / FA, TB/Physical training or certification may be required.
Minimum of 1 year of DSP experience.
Valid Driver's License required and must be 21+.

Responsibilities

Provide support that will enhance individuals' quality of life.
Implement specialized programs in areas of communication, socialization and behavior management.
Assist with and teach independent living skills.
Assist with activities of daily living and personal self-care such as toileting, eating, grooming, bathing and dressing.
Accompany participants to various community activities.
Maintain cleanliness of homes and ensures a healthy living environment for participants.
