Northern Hills Training Center in Spearfish, SD is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for part-time, full-time, and overnight shifts. Position Summary

We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for part-time, full-time, and overnight shifts. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to individuals in their homes and community settings, helping them build independence, maintain health and safety, and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping)
• Support community participation (social activities, outings)
• Provide companion and emotional support
• Document services and progress accurately
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment

Available Shifts

Full-Time and Overnight Shifts

These positions follow a rotating 12-hour schedule. Allowing you to have half the year off!

Shift rotations are divided into:

Front Half

• Week 1:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
• Week 2:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Back Half

• Week 1:Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Part-Time

Flexible scheduling available based on your availability and program needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diplome or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and reliable
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or human services is a plus (but not required)

Benefits

• Wage: Part-time employees start at $17.77/hr. Full-time and Overnight Employees average $20.31/hr.
