Job summary

Renew Residential Services is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care in clients’ homes and communities. You will help residents live independently while ensuring safety, dignity, and quality of life through person-centered care and positive support.

The role offers full-/part-time day shifts with a $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days. You’ll work in a value-driven, growth-oriented team focused on ethical care and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Experience in group homes or care settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely with equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some shifts.
• HIPAA awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating.
• Support clients during meals and dining environment.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
• Implement individualized care plans and dementia/memory care strategies.
• Administer medications per policy and training.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Engage clients in social activities and outings.
• Document progress with detailed notes on observations and care.
• Communicate with supervisors, families, and external providers.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and safety concerns.
• Uphold company policies and state regulations.
