Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Background checks and screenings must be passed.
• Prior care home experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certifications preferred; HIPAA training a plus.
• Experience with medication administration and care plans desirable.
• Ability to lift using equipment like Hoyer lifts; long shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare and assist with meals; maintain clean dining environment.
• Support mobility and implement individualized care plans.
• Document client progress with detailed notes on observations and care provided.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, families, and external providers.
• Respond to emergencies and safety concerns; uphold policies and regulations.
