Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) in New York to help individuals with disabilities in daily living, promote independence, and support community participation.

You will provide personal care, transportation, and daily living assistance, working with a supportive DSP team. A valid NYS Driver's License is required; new hires meeting criteria earn a higher rate.

The Role:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with them, assisting with daily living activities, fostering their independence, promoting their well‑being, and helping them connect with their communities. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference. This position requires a valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and succesfulk completion of Brightway Living & Learning's Transportation Orientation. New Hires that do not meet this criteria will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00/hour.
