Job summary

Omega Home Care in Owings Mills, MD seeks Direct Support Professionals for part-time, on-the-road assignments. You will assist with daily living tasks, teach self-care, prepare meals and handle laundry while supporting independence.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays 9 AM–3 PM (12 hours/week). Requirements include HS diploma, CMT and CNA certifications, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal tasks, including cleaning and chores.
• Teach self-care skills and develop behavior plans as needed.
• Cook meals and handle laundry for clients.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
• Provide on-the-road support during assigned shifts.

Summary

Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, and doing laundry. Additional duties may include: Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with household chores, accompanying to appointments and community integration activities.

This job opening is for IMMEDIATE HIRING.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 hours per week

Schedule and Location:

• Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM - 3 PM (6-hr shift)
