Job summary

Omega Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with mental or developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, and doing laundry, plus daily personal tasks and community activities.

This is an immediate, part-time position with a 20-hour workweek and a schedule Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Candidates must have a clean background, be vaccinated, and hold a valid driver’s license with car

• High School or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Create behavior plans and teach self-care skills.
• Assist clients with daily living tasks including cooking meals and laundry.
• Support clients with daily personal tasks and accompany them to appointments or community activities.

SUMMARY:

Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, and doing laundry. Additional duties may include: Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with household chores, accompanying to appointments and community integration activities.
