Job summary

Arbor Associates is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to join our per diem bench team supporting residential programs in the Westborough/Marlborough area. Provide compassionate direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. Shifts include second/overnight; weekend availability required.

Hours vary and are not guaranteed. Compensation is $20 per hour for per diem/as-needed work.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
• Encourage independence, choice, and participation in daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and behavioral support strategies.
• Complete required documentation and promptly report changes, concerns, or incidents.
• Transport or accompany individuals during community activities when required.
• Communicate effectively with program staff and the Arbor staffing team.

Location: Westborough/Marlborough, MA area

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Primarily second shift and overnight; weekend availability required

This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking supplemental income who has a flexible schedule. Bench staff cover shifts due to call-outs, vacations, leaves of absence, and other staffing needs. Hours are not guaranteed and vary from week to week.

Schedule and Availability

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
• Weekend availability required
• Ability to accept shifts on short notice when possible
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30 minutes between assignments
