Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC in Genoa, Illinois, is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for full- or part-time roles. Starting pay up to $16.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $1000 sign-on bonus. Positions located at Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, IL.

As a DSP, you will assist individuals with daily living, maintain a safe home, document progress, and may drive company vehicles during activities. Requires DSP certification or training, 18+, reliable transportation, ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Transportation to your shifts.
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADLs.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe home.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document activities, concerns and progress notes.
• Participate in in-home and out-of-home activities, may drive company vehicles.
• Provide an abuse and neglect-free environment at all times.
