Job summary

Right at Home SLC in Salt Lake City is hiring Direct Support Professionals to help adults with disabilities live independently and participate in their communities. As a DSP/caregiver, you’ll provide one-on-one care, companionship, and practical daily support.

This part-time role offers weekday and weekend shifts with competitive pay ($17.00–$18.25/hour), mileage reimbursement, PTO, holiday pay, 401(k) with matching, and ongoing training. CNA or Dementia certification can boost pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and car.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral care preferred.

Responsibilities

Position: Caregiver

As a DSP/caregiver, you'll provide one‑on‑one care that matters every day. Your responsibilities will include offering companionship and emotional support, assisting with hygiene and mobility, preparing meals and light housekeeping, providing transportation to appointments or outings, giving medication reminders, and building meaningful connections that foster well‑being.

Benefits That Value You

Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification) Minimum $27.50 per shift

Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour

Raises after 60 days + annual reviews

Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week + required documents completed)

Mileage reimbursement between client visits
