Job summary

Alay Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care, behavioral support, and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Starting pay is $21.40 per hour.

Benefits include medical insurance (Horizon BCBS – 70% employer paid), dental & vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, and ongoing training through the College of Direct Support for DDD certification courses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Community integration and companionship.
• Behavioral support and mentorship.
• Medication administration.
• Transportation to community activities.
• Training provided: College of Direct Support (Online DDD certification courses).
• Preferred experience: Reliable transportation; 1+ year experience in behavioral health, caregiving, or direct support.
