Job summary

Alay Home Care in New Jersey is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life.

You will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement, helping with ADLs and daily routines while documenting progress and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving or DSP preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.

• Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
