Job summary

The Direct Support Personnel I role at Amergis Healthcare Staffing supports individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in homes, communities, or residential settings. You will work directly with residents to foster daily living and adaptive skills.

Responsibilities include following each resident's Individual Service Plan, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with care teams to promote growth and independence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.
