Job Summary:

CLW, established in 2008 with multiple locations throughout the state of Ohio, provides day program services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and dedicated full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP at CLW, you will support individuals in their daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their overall well-being. CLW is a family-friendly company committed to providing an excellent work/life balance.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required. We will train you!
3. Ability to follow care plans and assist with activities of daily living
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Compassionate and patient demeanor
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including grooming, feeding, and dressing
2. Support individuals in household tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
3. Provide meaningful daily activities and community outings
4. Implement and document individual care plans
5. Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients
6. Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition
7. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
