2nd shift (service hours of 3-11p) $20.25 per hour.

Connections in Ohio is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to provide supported living services to individuals with developmental disabilities in our Cuyahoga County homes. For over 25 years, we have helped people with disabilities live more independently. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. As a direct care professional, you will assist with daily living needs and help individuals develop skills for independence. Make a difference and help them grow!

What’s a day like as a DSP? Working alongside individuals to support daily needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting individuals in reaching personal goals, like learning to cook their favorite meal
• Transportation to community outings (Zoo, movies, grocery store, etc.)
• Meal preparation
• Household cleaning assistance
• Medical appointments
• Passing medication

Position details:

• This is a part-time or full-time position, ideal for those who thrive on variety.
• Part-time: available for 1st and 2nd shifts (7a-11p) or 2nd and 3rd shifts (3p-8:30a), at least 1 weekend day, 16-32 hours guaranteed.
• Full-time: same shifts, 36-40 hours guaranteed, including 1 weekend day.

Requirements:

• 21 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Ohio Driver License (4 points or less)
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance
