Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. We offer full-time and part-time roles with all shifts available, and a starting pay up to $16.00 - $25.00 based on experience.

This position supports individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, with paid training to certify as a DSP and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training
• At least 18 years of age
• Transportation to your shifts
• Lift 50 lbs
• Pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s
• Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning.
• Monitor individuals and engage in redirection.
• Document individual’s activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles.
• Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
