Job summary

Mains’l Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people live independently in their homes and communities.

As a DSP you will provide person-centered supports, assist with daily living activities, transportation, and write accurate daily notes. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules with paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid US driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide person centered supports tailored to individual needs (ADL, behavioral supports, coaching, skill-building).
• Assist with transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Maintain safe, clean, welcoming living environments (laundry, housekeeping, meal prep).
• Teach valuable skills—financial management, communication.

• $17.00/hour - $19.00/hour based on level of support

What You’ll Do:

As a DSP, you’ll support an individual in their home and community. No two days look exactly the same — but your impact is clear.

You May:

• Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching and skill-building)
• Assist with transportation to various activities and medical appointments
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation).
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication.
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy.
• Accurately document care and daily activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• 18 years or older
• A valid US driver’s license, reliable transportation with insurance.
