Job summary

Serenity, LLC in New Jersey is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities include supporting activities, teaching daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and promoting independence. Flexible shifts, paid training, and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to pass background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with I/DD preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem
$21.50–$26.50 per hour

Serenity is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities

• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping

• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized

• Provide safe transportation
