Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Erie, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our compassionate team. You will work one-on-one in home and community settings, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their full potential through supportive companionship and daily living assistance.

We offer part-time schedules with flexible shifts across Erie County, paid training, a 1-day orientation, and mileage reimbursement for community activities.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Spend time on the client's hobbies and activities.
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking DSP / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA’s DSP / Direct Support Professionals work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We are part-time and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie, PA. We have paid training and only a 1-day orientation.

The majority of our hours are weekday, day shifts. Urgently hiring!

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour +)
  • Paid trainings and only a 1-day paid orientation!
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
  • Mileage reimbursement weekly

Qualifications for Our DSP / Direct Support Professionals

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
