Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, goal achievement, and community participation. You will implement ISPs, provide compassionate care, monitor health, transport clients to appointments, document care, and collaborate with a supportive team to foster independence and quality of life.

CPR/First Aid training through approved providers is required, with paid training and opportunities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISPs aligned with clients goals.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral plans.

Qualifications:
