Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve independence and participate in their communities. You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISP goals, provide companionship, and monitor health per guidelines.

Requires 18+, HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid training; prior DD experience preferred. The role offers flexible hours including full-time, part-time, and per diem options to support client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and transportation.
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligning with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
