Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our compassionate team. Help clients achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and participate fully in their communities.

You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, provide companionship, monitor health, and document care while following safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid training are preferred; we offer flexible hours including full-time, part-time,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18+ years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training required or completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (personal hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Follow ISP care plans aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.

• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid to be completed through approved providers.
