Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with all shifts covered. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

The DSP role involves assisting individuals with daily living, maintaining a safe home, and documenting progress. Training is provided, and eligibility for overtime, benefits, and a Roth IRA is offered.

Qualifications

• DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training
• At least 18 years of age
• Transportation to your shifts
• Lift 50 lbs
• Pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s
• Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning.
• Monitor individuals and engage in redirection.
• Document individual’s activities, concerns and progress notes as required.
• Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles.
• Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
