Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bucks County and nearby areas. You’ll help them live more independent lives in their homes and communities, building connection, trust, and daily support.

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll work with individuals on daily activities, independence, and community participation.

• Valid driver’s license preferred.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting individuals with daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks

• Encouraging independence, confidence, and self-advocacy

• Helping individuals participate in community activities, employment, and social opportunities

• Following individual support plans and health or behavioral strategies

• Ensuring safety, dignity, and respect at all times

• Communicating openly with supervisors and completing basic documentation

Who We’re Looking For

• Kind, dependable, and patient people who genuinely care

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

• Ability to pass PA background clearances

• Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team

• Experience with IDD is a plus, but not required(we provide training)
