Job summary

NurSelect, LLC seeks Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with IDD and Autism in home settings in Chester County, PA. You’ll build meaningful relationships, support daily routines, and help residents thrive in their communities.

Role focuses on companionship, ADL assistance, medication reminders, and safe transportation. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and strong empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Licensure: Valid Driver's License.
• Soft skills: empathy, active listening and collaboration.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Engagement: spend meaningful time with residents to support routines and interests.
• Daily Living Support: provide minimal assistance with ADLs as needed.
• Health & Safety: administer medication reminders and assist with transportation to appointments when necessary.
• Individualized Care & Collaboration: contribute to personalized support plans based on residents' needs.

About the Role

Are you compassionate, patient, and dedicated to empowering others? We are looking for caring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism directly in their home environments.

In this role, you won't just be providing care-you will be building meaningful relationships, fostering independence, and helping residents thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Companionship & Engagement: Spend quality, meaningful time with residents to support their daily routines and personal interests.
• Daily Living Support: Provide minimal assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Health & Safety: Administer medication reminders and assist with safe transportation to and from appointments when necessary.
• Individualized Care & Collaboration: Understand and respect each resident's unique personality, behaviors, and needs. Actively contribute your own insights and ideas to their personalized support plans.

Qualifications & Requirements
