Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Columbus is seeking DSPs to support individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and homes. No prior experience required as training is provided. Earn $17.25–$18.25 per hour across all shifts, with paid training and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Roles include direct care, supervision, meal prep, personal care and housekeeping to foster independence and safety. A driver’s license and reliable vehicle are needed in many cases.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by state law).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid Ohio driver’s license with car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily living activities.
• Perform household tasks including meal prep and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Requirements for this position include:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
